Our Story
Nestled along Highway EE, Alpaca & Nature Day Camp sits where the Missouri River Valley meets ancient limestone bluffs—a setting that shaped our philosophy from the start.
We began as a small family operation with a simple conviction: alpacas are extraordinary companions who teach patience, presence, and respect. Over the years, we've grown into a trusted destination for individuals, families, and groups seeking meaningful outdoor experiences.
Every encounter at our camp is designed to honor both the animals and the land. Our guided walks, educational sessions, and seasonal programs reflect a deep commitment to animal welfare, environmental stewardship, and authentic connection.
What We Offer
Each program is thoughtfully designed to create lasting memories while fostering a deeper appreciation for alpacas and the natural world.
Lead one of our gentle alpacas along our scenic trail network. These 45-minute guided walks offer an intimate glimpse into alpaca behavior and personality—perfect for first-time visitors.
A half-day program designed for families with children ages 5 and up. Meet our alpacas, learn about their care and history, and enjoy hands-on activities in our outdoor classroom.
Explore 40 acres of curated trails through native prairie, riparian zones, and woodland. Our naturalists identify local flora and fauna while sharing the ecological history of the region.
Host your next team-building event, birthday celebration, or special occasion on our grounds. We offer customized packages with guided alpaca interactions and rustic venue options.
